iSupply – B2B eCommerce Platform for the Food Industry
Where does it begin ?
In the food industry, time, freshness, and price transparency are everything. When the founders of iSupply approached Accelray, they had a clear vision: to transform the way wholesalers, distributors, and food shop chains buy products like juice, packaged goods, meat, and other perishables.
Their existing procurement process was outdated and handled over WhatsApp, phone calls, and manual Excel sheets. Orders were delayed, vendor prices were inconsistent, and there was no easy way to track purchase history across multiple shop branches.
They needed a complete digital backbone: one that could bring manufacturers, food shop owners, and administrators onto a single platform with transparency, speed, and control.
Accelray partnered with them to create Talabatty: a modern B2B eCommerce platform tailored for the food wholesale ecosystem.
Our Role
We led the entire digital product build from ideation to launch:
- Designed the multi-role architecture (vendors, buyers, admins)
- Developed the full platform with order, pricing, and analytics modules
- Created a responsive UI for vendors and shop owners
- Implemented role-based dashboards and approval flows
- Delivered ongoing enhancements to support future scalability
Key Features
- Vendor Portal: Manufacturers and food producers (e.g., meat suppliers, juice brands) can upload products with pricing and packaging details. Products require admin approval before listing.
- Shop Owner Portal: Wholesale buyers with multi-branch operations can browse products, manage branch-specific orders, and track past purchases.
- Special Pricing Engine: Admin can assign custom prices per product per buyer or branch crucial in food distribution where margins vary.
- Inventory Management: Vendors can list batch quantities, expiry dates, and stock updates (ideal for perishables).
- Purchase History Dashboard: Shop owners can see itemized order histories, pricing trends, and branch-wise consumption.
- Secure Access Control: Clean separation between vendors, branches, and admin users to prevent cross-access.
